Hello,
I want to install to one of my customer an ASL3.0.
He has 9 computers attached on his lan at the time of his decision to buy ASL. But now there are 2 commercials more in his team. So now 11 persons must be connected at the same time on lan, but they will not use the web togheter. All these computers will be behind a NAT!!!
Work ASL on socket used, or on ip registered?
In other terms, when you use a license of 10 ip's does that mean that only 10 persons can have an internet access at the same time, or that only the 10 first ip's seen by ASL will have access and then no other after that???
I have some experience with WatchGuard in this kind of problems (limited user license), and WatchGuard make a limit on the sockets used. [:)]
I already asked an answer from some sales at Astaro, and I have had two different answer.
Did you have any experience with it?
