Hmmm,
I am having some odd problems with an Astaro box I am setting up. I have set Astaro 3.x and 2.x boxes up in the past without much bother, this is a strange one.
The ASL box is connected on its external interface to a Cisco 3550 router. On its internal/admin interface in to a 10/100 switch. I can talk fine to the ASL box over its admin interface but when I try to get to the Cisco switch or beyond, it does not work.
So I logged in to the ASL box on the console and tried to ping the Cisco 3550, which is the default route of the ASL box.
The average rtt of the pings is about 23 seconds but it is very variable, none are less then about 19 seconds.
Next I disconnect the ASL box and setup a Windows ME client with the same settings, I can then ping the Cisco 3550 fine, less than 1ms.
Has anybody seen this or any idea what it might be?
thanks
Mike
