License and IP counts on LAN

If buying a 100 IP license, what happens when IP no. 101 tries to get through the firewall? Does the firewall shutdown, are the IP 101 disallowed... or...???

Is it possible to buy an upgrade, or du you have to look years forward in order to get the right license?

    As far as I know this is not really an issue.
    Astaro seems to license without really limiting, meaning that ip 101 or 105 will still work fine.
    Point is that you should buy a licence for every client/server that does talk to the outside of the firewall (or you'll actually be in violation of the license agreement, thus rendering you licence unvalid in the eyes of the "law").If you have... say 30 printservers they should not "need" to be licensed.
    Use common sense and be fair    

    And yes you can uppgrade the license (but only in fixed steps if i understood it right).
