How to generate a monthly traffic report?

I remember that I saw somewhere that it is possible to generate a monthly report about the traffic going out to the Internet. I think it was the ASL online Demo.

All I found out so far is how to see the traffic of one day. I'd like to know how many bytes I sent and received e.g. from the 1st till the 31st of october.

Could some one give me INstructions on how to do that?

    If you click on the graph for the daily network report it will expand to the weekly, monthly and yearly reports.

    Otherwise you can turn on Accounting to get a more detailed breakdown of bandwidth useage.

    The accounting Reports are beeing generated, but only for a single day. I'd like to have them summed up in a monthly accounting report.
    That was definately possible with ASL 2.x and the online demo on the astaro web page.

    If I go to "Reports -> Accounting" menu it gives me the option of a drop down list of days, and "fullmonth" reports.

    Is that what you are afteR?

    that would be great to have!
    in my list I can switch to every single day, but rhere are no month, even though the ASL is running now for two month!

    Any idea?

    It says in my sig :-)

    But thats what I get in my reports, when it flips over to the next month it does a monthly report for the month just processed.

    For example we are in October now, if I use the drop down list to select the daily reports, it also has one called "2002-09-FullMonth" for the whole of September as well as the daily September reports.

    Hope this makes sense

    Hello Biffa,

    is there anything I have to consider when setting up accounting to activate the monthly report?

    It pretty much looks like we run the same ASL version an get different menues.
