[WAR 100] Not enough free space on harddisk - please check(450 times)

Hi,

What am I supposed to do when my logs partition fills up? I couldn't find any references to this in the manual, but thats not to say its not there. Any help would be appreciated!

code:
[WAR 100] Not enough free space on harddisk - please check(450 times)
WARNING - not enough space:
0% free - (1996 kbyte) on device: /dev/hda3 - mounted on /var/log

Then I get the email about system attempting to free up some space, but its not very succesful at that as far as I can tell. I'm lost.

code:
[WAR 006] To many log files - oldest ones have been deleted
There were too many old logfiles in /var/log - the firewall
deleted /var/log/*20021015* (date style: YYYYMMDD) and freed
0 kBytes of harddisk space.

Thanx!
