Strange IP address issues (PPPoE)

Hello all,
ASTARO 3.209 Home Edition. PPPoE connection with dynamic ip address. Server assigned gateway.

I have a strange issue with reporting my dynamic IP address when using PPPoE. I am not too sure if it is a configuration issue with Astaro or my ISP's doing. I suspect the later.

Basically whatever program I used to report my dynamic IP address I end up with this address being reported 203.20.58.1
I have sent email from this point as well and it reports the same originating ip address when my network interface reports the assigned IP address of 210.15.196.149 for example.
I guess this is to do with a downstream gateway that my ISP uses but would like to have this confirmed.

    The UBB software has reported your IP address to be 203.20.58.1, too  [:)] 

    According to DNS, this is

    code:
    [root@foobar scripts]# host 203.20.58.1 
    1.58.20.203.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer ce1-hob.netspace.net.au.
    So it looks like your ISP does some transparent filtering on your traffic, at least for HTTP, but maybe also for SMTP or other protocols.
