QoS settings with DSL (PPPoE)

I have an ADSL line with 512kbits download. Because there is a bug in ASL i cannot set the QoS for the ethernet card connected to ADSL modem. Can i set the QoS on internal network card? Does it matter where QoS information is entered (internal/external card)?

I would really appreciate your help because i really need QoS feature.

    You can certainly still use the QoS features. All u need to do is set the advanced settings of the NIC for the internal network. It has two settings, interface bw and actual bw. Interface will probably be 10mb or 100mb, actual bw u want to set to your actual bandwidth which u said was 512k so put that in. Then when you are setting your QoS settings, put the destination to your LAN_Connection_interface or whatever you named it.
