Install From Floopy?????

Iv got a small problem, the server im installing astaro on, can't boot from my SCSI CD-Rom, but i can boot from my floopy drive. Can i somhow make a boot disk, that i can boot from, to stat the installer, on the CD?

The user manual tells how to build a boot floppy from the CD. Then you boot with the floppy and it installs from the CD.

Oki, i have been looking around, for that but i have not been able to finde it. I have to manuals (English Install Guide) and (asl-3.2-manual). its not, in any off em.

Ver. 3.x supports only booting from cdrom.(p.18)

Ver. 2.x supports both booting from floppy and from cdrom.

Ah....

Haven't done 3.2 yet.

So, install 2.x via floppy, then upgrade to 3.2. Perhaps.

To enable booting from a CDROM even if the system does not allow cd boot, go to this site and download the software and install to a floppy and you will be able to boot any cd.
