Voice in ms-messenger

When i use ms-messenger in mode char. all ok. but, when a use ms-messenger in mode voice, not responding.

If i use ras to connect to internet, no problem.

I don't use personal firewall. Only astaro 2.0.28 with only rule intern ==> all ==> internet, and Internet ==> not ==> Intern.

what do i rule need for my correct connection?

    I beleive this is a problem with MSN Messenger.  I don't know about other versions of Windows but there is a WindowsXP patch that addresses a problem with Messenger voice conversations not working thru NAT.

    I see this:

    To enable voice and video communications with Windows Messenger through a non–UPnP firewall, configure the firewall to allow incoming traffic on UDP ports 5004 – 65535.

    For other purposes, enable the following ports:

    File Transfer: 6891 (to allow 10 simultaneous file transfers open ports 6891 through 6900) 
    Application and Whiteboard Sharing: 1503 
    Remote Assistance: 3389

    MSN Messenger does not work correctly through NAT without opening a ton of ports.  (Not sure if it even works then).

    To work with MSN the firewall must be uPnP enabled.  This feature is not yet in Astaro.

    If you find a solution please let me know.

    Are there any plans for Astaro to support Upnp?
    I read that several HW firewall appliances have announced support for Upnp in their new products.

    Some of these vendors have announced they will provide firmware or software upgrades to customers who already own their devices to add support for UPnP-enabled NAT traversal.

    MSN File Transfers now work over NAT if you pass 6891 to the client trying to send.  This is new; prior to the recent change you couldn't do this even if you did pass the port.
