What version of identd??

What version of identd does Astaro use?  A friend of mine is a security professional and is currently trying to hack past my Astaro box (at my request).  The only thing he has found so far is that, in hs words, "identd seems to be vulnerable".

I am waiting on more info from him on this and will post it when I get it.

    Ident is open, but it doesn't mean it is necessarily vulnerable. 

    There was, however, a recent exploit that can root a machine running a certain version.  Perhaps this is what he is referring to.

    I just did some updates on my Astaro box though, and I am betting that they patched that issue.

    Not for sure though...
