Forgot Web Admin password!!!!

Hi to all,

can anyone help me?
I forgot the Web Admin password (Astaro is working too good from much time!!!...) but i've the root password.

How i can do ?

sorry, with 3.202 it's easy, not with 2.X. I heard there is a way, but i don't know.

What about logging in locally as root and do a 'pwd admin'? Won't this set up the admin user password?

logon to consol as root (if you have root passwd) will give you what you want....passwd "username" will prob. fix it [;)]

Hi Max32,

login as root, hopefully you remember the password ,
cd to /etc/wfe/conf and remove admin's password
in loginpwd. Access the WebAdmin with a blank password
and set a new one in SYSTEM/SETTINGS!
