Virus License

Hi!
Just a short question.
To enable Virus scanning on my astaro machine I need to get a license for 49$(!!!!) ...
I just wondered if I can change the Virus software on my astaro to one, which is also free for non-commercial use.
I'm a student and really don't want to spend 49 Bugs on a Virus protection which I think I could have for free.

Is that possible???

    I don't believe that it would be to easy changing the virus protection in ASL because it's integrated in the system.

    BUT:

    Why don't you protect your workstation itself with a free Virusscanner like AntiVir or other prog?

    this would be my way without spending a bug.
