Our lab (belong to an university) want to set up a proxy using cable modem so as to bypass the university internet connection to get much higher and much cheaper internet surfing.
I find astaro linux is a very ideal solution to our proxy server. but I have some license issuses to ask. Because it is hard for us to get US dollars, so we can't pay for a license.
Is there any license difference between the astaro linux version 3 and version 2? Will version 2's evaluate license expire or not? And if we choose version 3, which license shall we use?
Our internat address is like 10.12.*.* and our proxy address is 10.100.xx.xx, so we are not in the subnet.(All these addresses are belong to the university network.) Will some kind of license limit the proxy to the same subnet or not?
