Hello all. I'm thinking about redoing my Astaro firewall box and putting a "Disk On Module" IDE device as boot and system drive. I wondered if anyone had any experience with this and could offer suggestions.
I'm guessing I could use a 128 or 196 Meg module as /, and a regular 20 or 30 gig IDE drive for /var. It's been several months since I installed Astaro and I can't remember if the installer let me make suggestions for what partitions go where or whether it just did the partitioning by itself. Anyone remember?
