User authentication

I think Walter was referring to the use of transparent proxy so he doesn't have to visit all the workstations and manually configure them.

What I exactly want is:

All users in my internal network must   authenticate to getting access to WEB.

I use it in FW1 - "Client Authentication" and I didn´t have to visit all the workstations to configure IE.

Anyone receives a popup screen when try to access any website - http80 - so FW1 uses Radius server to authenticate.

Is it possible  with ASL???

yes my ISP use transparent proxy so when I connect
by dial-up a terminal windows pop-up where put 
username and password.
The question is : upgrading to ADSL by PPoE
may I do the same with ASL for my internal LAN
(2 Win 2000 adv server-for clustering- and win2000 as clients)?

sorry but that isn't possible, would mean to
setup the proxy tarnsparent, but this excludes/disables
automatically user authentication.
