License question

We are interested in buying Astaro, but
have the following questions regarding the license...

Our config looks like this

--Internet ----ROUTER---FIREWALL(coming soon) 
               |------ 5 public IPs om 5 servers 
   ---WAN 1----| 
   ---WAN 2----| 
   ---WAN 3----| 

We handle 5 public IPs and serve them (when necessary) with NAT implemented 
on the router.

But would like to know which IP number license will they need to buy in this case? 
This is because the total number of devices on the WANs + LAN can surpass 150...

    Its pretty simple a model for licensing, anything that is routed by the firewall (i.e. passes traffic through it, or to it) is counted as a licensed IP address. That counts servers, workstations, and even things like TCP/IP print servers and any other device.

    So if your WAN IP's are not protected by the firewall then they are not counted. If they do pass traffic through the firewall then they are counted.

    And what about the case where you use a Citrix environment with Eizo thin clients ? Do those clients also count as a singe license ? The clients itself aren't able to connect to the internet, the citrix server do that.

    Good question.

    Afaik, as your thin clients make no use of the firewall directly, they do not count towards your ip count.

    As an example, I have 32 public addresses, and four ips in private address space. I use a 25 ip license as there are currently less than 25 ips in use and have no trouble with this.
