QoS Setup

I've read everything I could find on QoS on the forums and such but when I try to implement bandwidth controls it doesn't seem to work.

Here's the setup 1 external interface and 2 internal LANs each on their own NICs.
I'd like to divide the external bandwidth evenly between both internal LANs while not restricting LAN to LAN communication.

I've entered small limits on "QoS Real BW (kbits)" for each of the NIC's; trying one at a time and then in different combinations including turning off sharing between LANs to no avail.
Does anyone have any ideas or have gotten this to work?

    QoS works on my side, i figured out that you have to enter a rule with Any (network) Any (service) Any (destination) and then whatever you whant like medium / share. It seems like QoS only works if your rulebase covers all services/networks...

    I'm not sure how that would work in my case. I already tried using from Any (source) with Any (service), but with seperate rules for each Internal Interface/Network.

    Did you place the "QoS Real BW (kbits)" on your External Interface?

    It sounds like you don't have any network or service bandwidth controls so I'm not sure how it works for your setup. Could you elaborate?

    i have set the QoS real BW for the external interface and i use QoS to give SMTP the most priority and the rest is just medium...
    It's hard to test, but it seems to work.
