Blocking Advertising in 3.200

G'Day

I am interested how to block advertising in 3.200. I do not want to block access to people using any sites (becasue there is only me and another person in the house) but it would be cool to block advertising again

Anyone got any idea how to do this? Is this feature now missing?

    It appears that this feature no longer exists. But then again, I never found it worked too well in version 2 anyway. The list of ad serving IPs was not very comprehensive.

    Have you used Mozilla? It has a great feature where you can train it to block ads from certain sites as you browse.

    This incredibly useful feature has been removed from ASL 3.2

    I can only assume that this is to bring the product in line with the commercial imperatives espoused by the new licencing model... but as no-one from Astaro has seen fit to answer this (or any other) post on the matter, we'll never know for sure.
