3.2 and backup from 2.025...no luck

I built out a new pc and installed 3.2
The new pc is identical to the old one except I installed 3 905C 3COM NICs. 
The old pc (running 2.025) has 3 905B 3COM NICs.

After I installed 3.2 on the new pc, I restored a backup from the old pc (2.025) and connected to it on a test network.
It looks like the restore was successful but when I replace the old pc with the new one it does not seems to work. (by this I mean ... no traffic is passed through and I am unable to Ping any of IPs associated with the NICs)
Is anyone else having the same problem?

    check your nics. look at the "interfaces"-list.
    maybe your nics have changed there identies...

    when this was not the problem check your number
    of nics... asl 3.2 checks this number... the
    office-version have only three nics. when you
    had in the old version more than your new license
    have the asl deactivate some...

    the truth is the import of the "more"-nics failed...

    tip:
    look in the "itf.conf" and there you can order
    your nics...

    I am connecting to the correct NICs and using the exact same number of NICs that I have on the 2.025 PC. License is professional. Still no luck.

    hi sam,

    i do have a similar problem..

    i now reinstalled my 2.025, because here everything works...

    i have installed the brand new 3.2 and started configuring..the same settings as on 2.025

    but nothing worked. no direct connection were possible. i could only surf via squid. but direct http was not working.

    i was wondering because i do only have very little rules. so it was easy to have an overview...

    the people made me thought i was stupid...i really tried everything!!

    so i reinstalled my 2.025..and..everything worked.

    so i think this MUST BE a bug in 3.2.

    i have not tried to backup 2.025, install 3.2, and import...i dont want to install anything for a while.

    I have only tried to do the backup, install and restore.
    I am using Dell GX1's with 3 identical NICs.
    I have forgotten what is in the production PC but I put 96 MB of ram in the new machine.

    Next week I will be trying to configure the new PC from scratch and see what is wrong.

    I have a feeling that there is something slightly different with the new version and until we find it we will have no luck.
