Ok I am a newbie, but it will work ... One day.
I use a Zyxel p642R router, configured in bridge mode. I am able to create a PPOE connection from Windows XP, so I believe it will be possible also from Astaro 3.2
So, here are the steps I did:
- Define internal NIC 192.168.1.2
- Define external NIC PPOE, username+password provided.
It seems good because I see external NIC received an externe IP adresse from my provider
- At these steps, I should be able to ping the DNS of my provider, using Ping tools. It failed (100 % loss packets)
- So I go to filter and put any -> any all services (Do not want to be blocked now)
Still no result for my ping
- So I tried different config with masquerade, but still no results.
Sorry to ask, but is there an easy how to for newbie to configure Astaro for ADSL ?
Something steps by steps, not detailed, but just to find my way ?
I have read the FAQ, but seems I am to much supid for it :>((
