Hi All,
I just wanted to begin by saying that ASL 3.2.0 is fantastic! Great job - ASL is an absolute joy to use! [:)]
Having said that, there is one minor feature that would be nice to see in a release down the road... My ISP requires a DHCP identifier to be sent to the DHCP server prior to obtaining a lease. If a valid client id is not sent, no lease is obtained and IP address information doesn't get assigned.
Normally within Linux, I would run the following command to obtain a DHCP lease from my ISP:
dhcpcd -I CLIENT_ID_HERE eth0
Are there any future plans to support a client id feature?
Cheers,
--Matt
