No Cobalt Version of ASL 3 ?!?!

hello astaro,
not only that you decided to change your licensing policy, you also push cobalt users out of the door.  do you really think people wait
until there is new hardware to buy from cobalt?
this may result in people buying another
firewall if they need to buy new hardware to be
able to run asl.  and the reason you gave (reiser
fs) was not good enough for that.  i think you
tried to go the easy way.
anybody out there who wants to buy a cobalt raq3i?

    go ahead and blame SUN not Astaro! Sun wasn't even
    able to release their latest boot-image, you are
    running still on a beta (since almost a year).

    I do not think that Astaro is interested in selling
    SUN hardware - that's not their business!

    great argument.  astaro knew that.  they could have been aware of this.  maybe they were able to use etx3 for this, but now they threw out a complete line of hardware.  and a "complete line of users".  and i think there is no reason to *only* support reiserfs.  especially if they state that they have a "special" version for cobalt.  is this too special?  why?
    anyway, that's it with astaro.

    yes: cobalt doesn't support ext3 too.
     
    We aren't able to maintain and Up2Date one version with two (or more) different filesystems, so we will let version 2.0X on cobalt.
