Office Edition and 2 SMTP Proxy domains?

I just read something that is somewhat interesting..  there will be the support for only 2 smtp proxy domains in the office version...

this will have me running for the door with my home license..  

i just paid 49 US for the AV scanning and on 2.x there was no such restriction..  and now there is..  i have 6 smtp domains that i have routed through a sonicwall to an exchange server..  most don't get 5 emails a day..  my main one maybe 50-100..  but the fact is they decided to just toss this in and lock it down..

please explain this..  it will have me asking for my funds back and heading to another solution if there is no workaround..

    I agree, see my thread below yours. I think they have made a *BIG* mistake with their price model. I for one had 5 clients waiting for the new release with no warning from Astaro that there was going to be any change in the price model.

    Although I am sure that you can have an arrangement with the sales rep about it, this makes Astaro look like a crazy option. I bet someone in Marketing or Accounts came up with this *GREAT* idea to do the model like this.

    Basically Astaro, if you are having problems with people buying your more expensive products you look at why they aren't buying them, perhaps they are too expensive? or perhaps your stupid per IP address model just is not what customers want?

    I can't see how it costs Astaro any more money in code or developers or staff or resources to have product that handles 1 IP address or product that handles 100,000 IP addresses! Its just stupid. What you should do is *LOWER* your prices across the board, then more people will buy the higher end products because they are *GREAT VALUE* not increase prices or make more restrictive models.

    I already requested a refund for my yearly personal AV license..  this is nuts..  they write a nice front end for publicly available software and charge pricess that are higher than what it would cost to by all in one hardware firewalls..  

    my sonicwall stays and they go..  

    great software but HORRIBLE marketing/sales
