Hi mate,

Did you try doing a clean install and entering your config all manually? I'm not sure whether the restore of old versions even old betas is supported, it hasn't been through the beta program, each beta from 3.04x up to 3.05x needed a clean install with no restore.

I'm about to test it out on a machine with 5 network cards that should be fun, but I'll let you know how I get on.

Regarding the price, all I know is the European prices but the price for the cheapest version is
for: 

10 secured IPs

With 1 years Up2date: 390 EUROS
With 2 years Up2date: 475 EUROS
AntiVirus per year: 295 EUROS

Now I don't know whether it would be a straight conversion to AU dollars.

One thing I must say to Astaro, I think the prices are too high, the prices of high end firewalls has been dropping in the last year
with prices for equipment falling for even unlimited user equipment from Sonicawall, Symantec, 3Com, Cisco, Watchguard etc.

For example in the UK for the price of a 50 user Astaro license with antivirus, its almost exactly the same price as unlimited user versions of appliances from the above manufacturers, add to that that you have to spend at least 8-900 EUROS for a decent 1U box for the Astaro and that most of the appliances above are ICSA Labs certified which although isn't necessarily an indication of quality its certainly gives the potential customer a "sense" of someone independant having tested the thing.

Don't get me wrong, I really do think that you have a fantastic product, I just think that you could do with re-evaluating the market and the prices in the higher number brackets. For what is effectively a software product (that becomes a hardware one once installed) a new less optimistic pricing structure could garner you a heap of new customers very quickly.

     changes all punctuation to %45 etc representing their ASCII value
     Changes all % to spaces
     Changes all spaces to _

This is a pain. Most easally fixed by editing ini files.

Editing INI files was the easiest way to fix interfaces that did not import correctly.
