I just got a pricing list from a sales person in the americas on Astaro pricing.. whoa..
390.00 for 10 ips? 250.00 for a yearly virus update? 95.00 yearly for Up2Date?
this seems a tad steep.. when one can purchase a sonicwall SOHO3 on ebay for 350-450 and have it all in one...
Is there a personal license for this that one could use for his home machines? i want to setup something linux based and ipcop is on hte 2.2 kernel and uses ipchains righ tnow.. want something on 2.4 kernel and iptables.. and astaro looks like a great product.. that much i know.. BUT, at those prices, i coudl buy a cisco 806... just trying to see the price justification on this...
