VPN 4 Dummies... help needed !

Hi everybody, 

I'd like to know how to establish a VPN connection - NET to NET and Host to NET ?! 

I'm trying to use those excellent features of ASL Beta 3.050 (and coming ASL 3.200), but due the fact that I'm not a pro with Firewalls (incl. ASL) I really need very detailed instructions of building those up. I can use both static & dynamic addresses. 

And do I need to have additional software like SSH Sentinel or CheckPoint VPN-1 SecureClient?! etc......

Ps. If someone know this function very well - I think that all of us (ASL users - old & new ones) would like have very detailed instructions of building up VPN-connections.
