Hadrware requirements

I am curious about real world hardware requirements.  I have read the website but would like to know if anyone has any advice as to what would be required for a firewall setup of ASL with 200 dialup customers brehind it.

    See docs.astaro.org for the hardware recommendations and compatibility.  You really don't need alot of horsepower to run ASL once in place, if you cpu is a little slow, you web interface might be a little slower, but its not going to effect the throughput all that much unless you are doing heavy VPN throughput.  If you are building from the ground up, let me reccommend the Tyan Tiger 200T.  2 Built in 10/100 Intel Nics are nice, not to mention the 5 PCI slots and built in ATI video.  SMP capable for others applications too.  My setup is this board with 5 additional Intel 82559 NICS, Maxtor 20GB 7200 RPM, 512 MB RAM, and 1 Ghz PIII.  RUns great and has been rock solid with ASL 2.023 for over 90 days now.  This is protecting a 6 Mbit Frac DS-3 connection and isn't flinching at all.  I have another box at home which I run on an AMD Duron 600.  Runs great too, but my only gripe is heat, the AMD's do run hotter and if in and enterprise application, I might worry about longevity of the chip, board, and Power Supply.
