upgrade to 3.X final

What would be involved in the final upgrade to 3.x? Would it be a simple Up2Date, or would it require a fresh install like the betas, also, would it accept the 2.X backup files to make configuration easier? Admins? Thanks.

If I remember reading all the 3.x will probably NOT have a backup restore of the configuration files.

Also I remember Tom said somewhere that the final version wont have a backup/restore from any beta, or version 2 configuration file

I hope I am wrong [:S]

Someone (Tom?) also followed up stating that they'd have a means of "transitioning" a 2.x backup into a 3.x system once the final system is available.

Otherwise, it's potentially alot of work to transfer one set of settings to another.

One thing I miss in 3.x is a general Masqerading page for an interface.

I was talkking to Paul this morning and he assured me that there would either be an update to 2.023 to save the file in version 3 format or a way in version 3 to import a saved version 2 format.
