adding a user

I want to add another user to passwd so that I can user my regular SSH user instead of 'loginuser'. And then upload my key for this user...

But the command 'addusre' is not part of the install [:(]

SInce I am not a LINUX person, I would like some advice....

Use the webadmin

Under Definitions menu you can select users to add.

webadmin users wouldnt be allowed to ssh would they?

I think the only way is to add the user manually to /etc/passwd AND /etc/shadow (Without password), then mkdir /home/user/, login and set password.

Biffa, I tried the web interface, and that does not add the user to /etc/passwd and give log in privledges.

THe path of adding things manually is intimidating. It has been years (like 10) since I have done such unixy things....

Removing Adduser seems a bit much.

I think it is not Astaroes intetion to make users
using the command line interface.

It's a firewall distro.. you're not supposed to have alot of users, and it isnt really that hard to add new users manually [;)]
