DHCP services

I want to run DHCP on each of my 5 private subnets (my firewall has 6 ethernet adapters in it).

I want a different range with appropriate mask and gateway for each subnet.  DNS is the same for all.

How would I do this?

    I don't believe that there is a way to do this with Astaro. One thing I would like to add (or have added) is support for defining more than reserved ranges. Things like turning on BOOTP, etc. Pretty much everything you'd expect a full-featured DHCP server to do.

    The DHCP currently is made for smaller networks.   People that might not have a server behind it.   With such a huge network of submask so forth you should have servers running everywhere.  I suggest using DHCP on those.  Since most likely they will be your login servers.

    Remember that ASL is a firewall appliance and not ment to be an application server

    Dispite, the large number of subnets, my operation here is quite small.  I run a test lab, with different set ups on different subnets.

    Sometimes I have a server there that will do DHCP, and sometimes everything is temporary and I need to provide the equipment there DHC-served addresses.  Up to now, this has all been quite a pain, and I waw hoping that astaro would have all of the features I need.  Now I have to look at either adding a DHCP server when I need one (yuck), or adding DHCP to astaro without upseting its security posture (and I suspect that I do not have the knowledge to do that, I am a protocols person, not an OS person).
