Problem in installaton: Cannot select english keyboard with latest ISO image

When I select the US-American keyboard layout i get dropped to the bash shell immediatly!

I'm installing from ISO... When I select some other layout I get to continue with the install!

What's wrong?

    It seems to be a bug in the beta version. You can choose an other layout during installation and change it later. the layout is in the file /etc/console, after editing it you have to restart the console with 'etc/rc.d/console restart'.
