Hey guys what RAID cards does ASL currently support? Is IDE raid gonna be supported? Hopefully Promise?

Since I seen this posted a few times in other forum topics... anyone from ASL can answer this?

Hi there,

as far as I know, ASL supports ICP Vortex as a SCSI Raid Controller, and 3ware as IDE Raid Controller.
I am not sure about the Promise Controller

Hi all,

next BETA includes kernel support for PROMISE, but i'm not sure if it will be detected during the installation....
Please give it a try and report the results

yes compaq smart array works (insider information) :-) and it's unbelievable fast...
