pdf file downloads are freezing

When I go to the download page and try to download the English version of asl-2.0-manual.pdf, the page freezes and I have to hit ctrl + alt + delete to get out of it. It only seems to be happening with pdf files. Any help would be appreciated.   [:S]

    That's almost 100% a configuration error on your local client machine.

    Maybe IE wants to launch Acrobat Reader and crashes in the process ?    

    Try right-clicking the file and choose "Save Link as .."
