can't login to the ASL box

Today I would like to "grep" my logs to see what happended this night. But I can't access the asl box anymore. with ssh I got this message:

[giallu@dx2 giallu]$ ssh 192.168.10.1
Received disconnect from 192.168.10.1: 2: Protocol error: expected packet type 30, got 34

any clues??

    did you update your ssh-client in the last time? it seems to be a compatibility problem between the openssh versions: asl uses a very old one (v.2.1.1) - newer linux distributions (redhat 7.2) use v.2.9.2 / v.2.9.9.

    ssh -1 loginuser@fw should work.
