MRTG Troubles

I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing this, but I can't seem to fix it. Where does ASL start and manage MRTG? For some reason the charts stop updating at random times. I'll get a notification that the SNMPd has been restarted, and that's when some things stop. I've stopped and restarted SNMPd myself and it doesn't seem to help. Only when I reboot ASL does it start charting again, but only until SNMPd restarts. I've checked cron and checked the processes but I still can't tell how ASL has MRTG running. I'm currently running v2.0.16 and this problem has been happening since the upgrade to 2.0+. Can anyone help?

I don't have the same problem as Greg, my snmpd does not run away. It simply gets restarted after which only some of the MRTG charts stop updating. Thanks for trying though.
