Here are a couple of wishes I would like to add to ASL:
SW RAID. Perhaps if two identical hard drives are detected in a system, Astaro will give you the option to enable software RAID and setup the two drives as a mirror of each other. Just a thought as it should be relatively simple to implement and would make it a bit easier to get one step closer to redundancy and high availability. I understand a true high availability solution is in the works as well.
Detection of diagnostic partitions. I recently installed Astaro on a Compaq Proliant server. Compaq uses a diagnostic partition on the hard drive to setup CMOS and test the hardware. Astaro understandably removed this partition during the install, but it would be nice if it could detect this type of partion and leave it in place. It is a bit of a pain to dig up the floppy disks just to change some system settings.
