SMTP Proxy Open Relay

It would seem that the Astaro SMTP proxy (qmail) is not configured to prevent relaying messages.

http://www.abuse.net/cgi-bin/relaytest to test as well as telnet to port 25 and do the same test with a remote address that I have. I was able to receive a relayed message through astaro, not good.

Can this please be fixed in the next Update2date? I'm going to poke around on the qmail website to see if I can figure out how to modify the configuration to prevent this relay.

you are right it seems to relay, but did you
try it? QMAIL won't send your external relayed
mail if your firewall is configured well.
Bad behaviour, we know.
Next version will act the way it should!

I actually discovered that it isn't relaying but passing the message to my postfix mail server. Postfix allows my internal network to relay so the mail then gets relayed because it trusts the firewall. As a temporary fix I've told postfix to ignore message routing with % however the qmail smtp-proxy shouldn't pass messages with routing in them as I'd prefer to stop these messages at the firewall.
