HELP - My ASL halts...

Hello all,

today, suddenly, my ASL started to halt !
after extensive search, i found that the crontab which initiates mrtg, halts the system !

So i commented out this from /etc/crontab but i have no statistics !

when i run mrtg by hand, system halts !

any suggestions ?

ASL version 2.01
PIII/500 256mb ram
3 ethernet cards..
Outer interface,
DMZ, localnet
all true IPs, no snat, dnat, etc...
only dns and http proxy

I think that there is a "max load" switch which made my ASL to halt..
One of my Lan computers was trying to connect to a non-allowable service, very aggressive...
ASL was denying all packets, but after few hours this made it to halt..

I fixed the problem (killed the user), and ASL seems to work fine again, without this halt phenomenon..
