additional log analyze and notification facilities

Hello

I'm looking for additional log analyze and notification facilities for my astaro system.
the now implemented features are really great,
especially the email-notification things.
but in case of an intrusion or a suspection and
you want to get more information the infos
given are too generic, more like statistics.

I tried to install third party software(other
GPL tools) but I faild to transfer any package to
the system.
not possible to mount floppy
or transfer files via ftp

Does someone know how to use additional
packages or are there any possibilities provided
by astaro.
