HTTP PROXY not working ;((

After 72 hours with no sleep, i found that HTTP proxy is not working on my ASL, because it cannot connect to the outer space...
My inner networks can see the whole world through the firewall, which seems to be blind..

I cant ping, ssh, scp from ASL box..
is there any remedy for this ?

should i use any special packet filter rule to allow itself to connect to anyone outside my net ?

any help would be appreciated...

    The proxy should work ok if:

    - your firewall can reach the internet core name servers

    OR

    - you have enabled the DNS proxy with a valid external name server IP.

    My firewall itself cannot reach anything on the internet..
    If i use a local DNS, it can resolve everything. When i use my ISP's DNS servers, it cant resolve anything...

    One way or another, firewall cannot communicate with Internet.. Although, it passes all local requests outside..
