Monitoring Software

Can anyone recommend a good and comprehensive monitoring package that will help me monitor many Astaro Firewall Systems.
I would like to be notified of all of the problems with any system via e-mail and/or phone or a pager.

If there is not one tool, please recommend separate packages that might accomplish the same task.

Big brother is a Unix/linux one that we have used seems to work fairly well.

Big Brother is the name of a good unix monitoring program... You can configure it to report back on a lot of things over the network, ring alarms, etc etc.

Most of the config is done in shell scrips which gets confusing, but it is not bad...

I use this freeware program called Kiwi SyslogGen and its great.

I don't know much about Big Brother.

Mon is another package that can be used for monitoring systems. A lot of people like it.

Netsaint is yet another system monitoring package.
My company uses Netsaint, and we are happy with it.
