Can ASL support dynamic IP that received from dial-up ADSL adapter.

I think this Q has been asked a hundred times or so. The answer is "Not at this time", but you can find related messages with the search page of this forum.

Please note most of the hits you will receive are in the "Beta Versions" forum so you have to be used to system administration, compiling programs etc

O my god,It's "Not at this time"?maybe i shoud explain my Q in detail.
My ADSL adapter is auto dial-up to internet and will auto got a IP(dynamic) from ISP,then that IP should be binding to eth1 and then the firewall environment is builded.i just say 'shoule be' cause i do not know how to make this happen.

Astaro is not currently the right product for you to use.

If you want ADSL, USB , DHCP etc etc etc the go to www.smoothwall.org  ang get their product which fromthe sounds of it will suit you more than astaro.

You can hack astaro with these bits but I prefer not to (and don't know Linux well enough do so anyhow).

At some point Astaro may support some of these extras at which point look again.

Astro is great.
Just play with it, It seems that users created a dhcp support script for cable users.  Look on the forum for that scripts and for the program to get it on to your firewall.
Play with it and learn  

well, then you're lucky cause you don't need the PPPoE package.

I think you need anyway a DHCP client, so that you're quite in the same situation.

Giallu is right.  Pick the package, take a look at the read me, modify a file or two and you should be all set !  I am the one who put it all togheter and it work fine for me.

And guys,last Q.What kind of ADSL adapter you use.At 1st ,i need to use PPPoE under ASL.and i found my ADSL adapter have a console use RS232 line can connect by SuperTerminal,and i setting up all the things i need in it,and it's work.
At last, i don't know how to setting up in ASL.So,i put a Q in here.
