With regards to downloading. I have always had this problem. The file is supposed to be a 50mb gzipped iso file, but for some reason the download comes across in its ungzipped format, thus it is actually a 150mb download. IE thinks its a 50mb file but carries on all the way to 150mb or whatever it is.
Is it possible that your ftp & http servers are automatically decompressing the file whilst transmitting ?
When the download was finished, I removed the .gz extension and opened it with WinImage and it was a straight-forward ISO image, NOT a gzipped iso image as the filename suggested.
Do I make any sense at all ? I know what I mean anyway.
