bridge/proxy arp possible?

Is it possible to do totally transparent firewalling with astaro? in other words can i set up two interfaces as a bridge, or alternatively use proxy arp, will astaro have any problem with that?

    Yes, that is possible. Proxy ARP acts ALMOST as a bridge, but on a higher level. Firewall rules still apply.

    Can I do this with a bridge (in either 2.0 or 3.0?)

    Basically I have an ADSL (from Demon) with a /24 allocated.  The vagaries of ADSL in the UK mean that they can only route one netmask down the link, which means my entire /24 is routed via the ADSL router.

    What I want to have is my firewall acting as a transparent bridge protecting the services, etc which are running on the machines on my network.  I currently do this with OpenBSD and it works great, but would like to be able to use some of the other features which are bundled so nicely into the ASL solution.

    Is this possible now (or perhaps in the near future?)
