How do i get a gzipped tar file from a client in the local network to the firewall box? this has to do with transfering the dhcp-files to the server.

anyone suggestions. I'me a complete newbie to linux, so..

    assuming you already activated the SSH service in ASL, you can use the scp command. Once logged in the ASL the sintax is

    scp user@host:/path/filename .

    of course host has to be the ssh service active too.....

    one last thing: if you are a newbie to linux I don't really know if "hacking" DHCP into ASL is a task you can accomplish so easily.....
