I downloaded Astaro for evaluation purposes. I started by reading the manual, and from there I conclude that it is possible to save the entire configuration (for backup and cloning purposes). Nice feature!
A logical next step would be to use the same feature for creating templates and sample configurations.
Since I'm not very experienced with this topic I know that it would help me a lot in getting going.
Does anyone know of such sample configurations (e.g. Application Server environment w Web Services in DMZ, database in private zone, typical intranet configuration w proxies for common services, Web hosting w multiple domains in DMZ and administrative tasks run from intranet etc, etc).
If there arn't such templates: Hey, you guys at Astaro! Improve your chances of being the choosen ones! Strip down and publish the standard configurations that you use for testing purposes (certainly you do test various configurations, don't you).
