Unable to handle kernel paging request...

Greetings,

I administer a small home network of about 5 systems and 4 users. The traffic isn't too heavy for this setup but my astaro firewall has been recently crashing 1-3 times daily with this error:

Aug 26 15:52:15 vishnu kernel: Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address c7013eb0

I've turned OFF the SMTP proxy which included virus scanning in hopes that this might lessen the load on swapping. However, I'm not sure if that was a logical decision. Any ideas as to what might be causing this? I can provide more info from my logs if necessary.

please post the ASL version and your hardware setup!

I have the same problem and ASL isn't usable!!

ASL has Pentium 133 with 64 Mb EDO (4x16).

Any tips?

i'm not shure, but this error message means perhabs bad memory modules. had the same error and changed the memory modules, and now no problems any more.
if it's not the solution for you: like markus hennig wrote, please more HW and ASL version informations.

2. change your hardware, to slow.
