SNMP not working

Hi,

I have been struggling with the Faq on the SNMP and have followed the faq to the letter regarding proper setup. For some reason, I cannot get a connect to the SNMP daemon, even after a manual restart of that daemon.

Has anyone got this working? This is critical to bandwidth reporting for the implementation that I am wanting to install and have a company purchase the product for, any help appreciated.

Matthew,

did you setup the filter rule you need to contact to ASLs SNMPD.
For example
'SNMP-Station SNMP IF-ASL ALLOW' ?

BTW which version of ASL do you use?

Hello,

Just wanted to post back, I installed ASL 1.950 and it is working fine. I am not sure why this was an issue with the 1.931 release.
