Logs

2 questions:
Are there plans to enable log viewing (not live-log) via WebAdmin?

Is there a how-to on log viewing?
Something to explain where the logs are, what their naming convention is, how to interpret them.

Hi everyone,

I agree, I think it could be usefull to see the logs from WebAdmin. Especialy remotely without making a telnet session to the box.

I had hoped for a reply from Astaro .. but it seems not. [:(]

Still hoping they will include some log-viewing from within WebAdmin in the next version.

there is a document on log location and content here:
http://docs.astaro.org/docs/asl-logs.txt

as for WebAdmin viewing and filtering, we may include this in an Up2Date for 2.x.
