Can anyone help? Problems with installation

I have just downlaoded ASL from the website and used winzip to dcompress it. I then burned it onto a bootable cd and went to install on a machine wth Red Hat 6. As soon as it goes to boot it just comes with a error message saying "Missing operating system".
Was there a problem with winzip?

    Hi, I'm no expert, but Astaro Security Linux is not only a firewall but a whole Security-Hardened Linux Operating System.  You should probably install it on a machine that has nothing at all to start with.
    If it's just a problem with the CD image not being bootable, start by checking that other bootable CDs (like Win98SE, or Win2000Pro) boot successfully.  I had to make a floppy disk because the PC I used didn't properly support booting from CD.

    Does the CD-ROM have a single file, or does it have a lot of files if you look at the filesystem on it.

    If it only has one file it has not been written to CD correctly

    ciao boys,
    maybe the problem is in your mbr (master boot record)
    is the first portion of your hard disk.
    I think that you have damaged your boot sistem because on your mbr is writed that computer must start with red-hat and installing ASL with no boot system like boot magic or equiparated you have deleted red-hat.
    Darryl, where is the package for PPP-dial-up
    on ASL 2.0 b2?
